Got a call from 6789965171?
Left me and my husband a message saying I was being taken to court unless I called their number back within 24 hours. She did not say the name of the business.
Said had checks that had been returned
I was left a msg saying that I have a defaulted or bounced payment on a checking account ending w/ 4####'s but I do not and never have owned this account. They also gave a case # that cannot be found on the county/state database, which is funny because in my state, they do not try to collect a debt once it has gone to court. You are served usually by mail or a process server. They also had my name and last 4 of ssn so that it sounded legit but it is just a scam
Called threatening to take me to court. I responded to their text messages. They responded to me with harm.

Possible scam from Elizabeth Halliwell (sp). Contacted me looking for a my sister. Stated letters regarding a payment bouncing and needed to be settled. Letter were sent, supposedly, but never received. Still havent been told what its for or received any documentation about it being legit. She called me looking for my sister and roped me in, but made cause I'm now involved. Hmm.
