Got a call from THE PROVIDENCE GROUP DBA Project Leaders Investments Grp. Joe Mendez,CEO Phone Number: (678) 389-2711 project.leader.joemendez@gmail.com using a very similar, almost identical to others that have report it. The woman from the insurance company they suggested was named Stephanie Garcia with Coastalinsurance.net 910-212-7551. I think that target business owners that are new or have recently completed their state, county, or federal information to establish a business or try to contract with the government. My husband received a call from these people yesterday. They were supposed to meet today. After arguing that this could be a scam, I started my own investigation. They said they were with Five Star Property Management LLC. Manny Lopez is supposed to be the site manager. The number he called from was 678-208-5817. They offered to pay him $150,000 to clean 13 houses with $75,000 to be paid in advance. They provide all of the materials. Unbelievable! They sent him a contract from 5Starproerptymanagement@contractor.net with copies of their credentials and a link to the Ohio business search site. Of course, the website was fake. The contract had too many discrepancies. Such as how they presented the name different ways throughout the contract and typos. Devin Ramos and Michael Anderson are named in the contract. Thankfully, I did my homework and confirmed this is indeed a scam. Finding this site has been extremely helpful.

Her fake info include listed as Coastal insurance, 910- 302-5607 phone, coastalinsurance@insurer.com, https://coastalinsurance.net All a scam. They almost got me but I was doing my research and so grateful to have found this information. Other scammer with this group include another guy that I cannot remember the name. They all sounded like they come from a Hispanic or Mexican heritage. All other comments are very similar to almost the same of what I experienced. Even the website for the fake insurance company looks a little real until you pay closer attention to the images. You can tell it’s fake when you slow down and don’t rush with trying to seal the deal.

Lots of scams taking place around Savannah with this guy -- Please be carful they are targeting a lot of my contractors and landscapers/powerwashing crews. They are good using a 3mil claim and you cannot find it. Then they provide you with 3 options that they know, one is the best price -- DON'T FALL FOR IT. They try to get you to Zelle the money

I was targeted by this scammer this week. Same story as others. Same names and company names. They offer a lucrative contract with a 3 mil insurance policy. When you can't obtain it because it doesnt exist, they direct you to "their insurance provider". That's where they complete the scam by quoting a non-existent policy using the name of a legit insurance company biut the phone number of someone posing as an agent. I didnt make it to that part of the scam. It just so happened that a friend of a friend was also targeted just days before i was and was able to warn me where this scam was headed. The whole thing seemed off from the start but they use legitimate looking credentials to gain your trust before completing the scam. Even after i called them on their b.s. they continued to try to complete the scam. SMH

Mr. Devin Ramos called me today...Received a call from "Laura" at 5 Star Managment LLC from 980-393-4500. Claiming they had a 7 week project that required power washing...They sent me a "contract" for 7 weeks and they required 3 mil coverage with no umbrella which is impossible...Devin Called me and set up a place to "meet" and asked me to send a copy of W9 and Business License to his assistant to 5starpropertymanagement@contractor.net They almost got me. Thank God I found this!

Got a call from same person this morning, new number 678-682-2889, Devin Ramos Project Leaders Investments Grp., Contract too good to be true and required insurance for some reason only they can find for you. Multiple licensed insurance agents stated their requirements are impossible to get. Luis Rossi, posed as subcontractor for Devin Ramos and contacted me off Angi's List. His new number is 470-329-1094. Luis was able to find a company after I called 10. I wasted an entire day trying to secure coverage for this too goo to be true contract only to find out it is all a scam. I wish I googled them sooner. Just got a call from 678-210-7783 a Luis Rossi. Telling me they had a 12 month contract for me that had great pay. I was immediately suspicious simply from how they reached out to me. They say if something is too good to be true it probably is. I however wanted to go along with it to see if it was a scam or not. I told him I was interested and what did he require from me. He wanted my insurance to be for $3 million, he wanted a copy of my business license and wanted me to fill out a W9 form. In my years of experience I haven’t had to provide such documents for a contract and on top of that I had to provide them before even meeting with them or seeing the properties. Another red flag in my books. I’m still going along with it and said I would provide the documents. He then transfers me to the “CEO” of a company called Project leaders investment group (which doesn’t exist) his name is Devin Ramos 678-671-8189. Talking to him he said that I won the job and needs me to provide him with proof of insurance for $3 million, to fill out the W9 form and the business license. That I had to have the paper work ready prior to us meeting so that he can go ahead and pay me t the first half when we meet. Another red flag. In all my years of owning my business I’ve never had to provide those documents prior to solidifying any contract. I told him I would adjust my insurance once I can verify everything and look at the properties. In my process of verifying all of this I found this page with the exact names, phone numbers, the exact copy and paste emails. I’m glad I paid attention to the red flags and went with my gut. Please do not fall for this. The information they ask from you is enough to steal your identity and ruin your business. Stay safe, God bless.

We got a call from a 678-210-7783 along with an email identical to the ones listed in this thread. The caller became irate when we questioned the legitimacy of the contract because who pays half of a contract up front in the amount they were quoting without seeing the work done? They even went as far as to say they’d go back to Angi’s List to find someone who wants the work. My wife, who handles all of the office and legal paperwork/documents responded to their email and called them out on the nonsense they were trying to sell us. Don’t fall for it, or give them your information- it’s not worth it.
