Who called me from this phone number (650) 437-8282

Received Call today (01/20/2022) Asked for my name, said thanks for verifying and hung up

650-437-8282 just hangs up..

Got a call by this number and a lady ask if it was me she was talking to and then hung after telling me she was calling to verify who I was. Same here when I called back it played music.

Got a call from this number, a person with an accent asked my if they were speaking to and said my name. I said yes, they quickly said this is a verification call and hung up.

I received a call at work where a woman asked if she was speaking to me. After I said yes, she said she was just verifying and hung up.

Called my work phone. He said, Hello, am I speaking to ____ ____. I said yes. He said I am just verifying. Thank you. Then hung up.

Just received a call from 650-437-8282 at work asking for me by name and stated that it was a "just a verification call" and hung up.

Called on 10/19/2020 ... Did not answer. Received similar call from company previously. They are checking their calls lists (SPAM) to validate the phone numbers of the people they ask for. I then assume they resell these lists as validated contacts to businesses.

same issue as reported by others. they play coy until you say your full name, then they say they they say a name very quickly that they are just confirming my number. heavy asian accent. call log 07/17/20. same issue today, different call from #, indian accent - same MO.]

that’s exactly what happened to me. I’m located in the Greater Detroit area. When I called back I immediately was out on hold with music play for about 8 minutes before I decided to hang up

A female called asking for me on my work extension. When I asked how can I help you, she stated "just confirming" and hung up.

Calls too often and is an unsolicited service.

this number called and said her name is "mary barker" and "thanks for the confirmation" and hung up. no clue

Someone just called me (on my work extension) from this number. When I answer, I have to say my name. Then he said my last name and I said yes. He asked how it was going today and I said OK. He said again, my name is Raben (kind of sounded like Raven) and he hung up. Sounded like a scan to me. I did say yes and ok so, I'll see how he tries to use this information.
