Who called me from this phone number (650) 417-9013

Received a call from this company 3 times yesterday when I was out of the office. The name on the caller ID was "Encover Inc". They called again this morning and I answered. They said they were with Google Maps and wanted to speak with someone who could confirm the address. I told them they could talk to me. The guy was very difficult to understand, had a very thick accent and told me our phone call was being recorded. He asked me what type of business it was and when I told him he just started speaking in another language possibly to someone in the background and just kept having a conversation with someone else and left me hanging on the line without speaking to me so I hung up on him. I won't be answering the phone if they call back again.

Get multiple calls from this number every week. It comes up spam? on the caller ID. Stupid. I've answered before and the robo call or person claims to be from Google. I've quit answering as this is harassment. Google, get your act together. PS, Google, while we are at it, quit being a "woke" racist company and really get your act together. The American People are not STUPID! thank you

Got calls several times for the day starting at 8am EST from 650-417-9013. No message, no nothing, just a dead call. so annoying. especially now during work from home, when I have to answer every call!!!! ANGRY@%&*()

It was definitely google. This is the number they call from to confirm information on your google my business page. People often submit reports such as your business being closed, incorrect hours etc. It could even be your competition saying your business is closed. All these people do is check the info to see if it’s correct. Then update If necessary. If you hang up on them, they may mark your business as “closed” and then you’ll see an impact on your business. Be nice and give them the info they need. If you don’t want them to call, remove your google business listing and the calls will stop

Received a call stating they work for Google maps refused to put supervisor on and hung up. Called MPower Communications in California who owns the number and they refused to point me in a direction to get the name of the company making the harassing calls.

This number calls my phone several times a day, sometimes at 5 AM. I have blocked the number in my phone but it still registers the number. Time to find out who is calling so many times a day.

Got a call from them at my work. She said she is from google maps and wanted to confirm my hours. On the caller ID is said Spam on it. Google shouldn't be calling. Usually we have communicate via email. Don't ever confirm anything over the phone.

I received several calls this week from this number stating they were from Google Maps. When I asked if she was a vendor, she said yes. I asked what she was selling. She said she wanted to speak with out marketing department. I told her I received a few calls from them yesterday. Then I asked her to remove our phone number so they wouldn't call again.

Called our business, they clearly stated that they were from Google Maps and they were trying to confirm our business hours. I told them that they should know, they have all my information. I once again asked, do you work for google. Her response was yes. I then proceeded to state, that if she worked for google. She has all my information, and that I prefer an email instead of phone call. I asked if she needed anything else. And promptly hung up.

Called our business here, said they were Google Maps trying to confirm our address. Talked to one of my employees, once she said she was going to get a manager, they hung up. Seems suspect.

Caller ID says Google - Google would not call 4 times in a day, spam

Called our business. Said they were from google maps, updating business information. They told me our address and then asked our business hours. I did give that but when they asked for our website I was like "you're google, you should know that!" I am trying to figure out how the info they asked for could be used for a scam, I'm sure it must be
