Is 631-318-6553 a scam or spam call?
I had a message from a recorded voice saying that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. I too always pay when I have to. These people are crazy if they think I’m going to fall for their scam.
Left me a voicemail to say they are the IRS calling me. Funny is that I've never received anything in the mail and I've always paid all of my taxes and on time. And when the number called, my phone automatically filtered it as "Scam Likely".
Typical "guy with foreign accent" from "IRS" calling to collect delinquent taxes. Problem is, I've always paid my taxes, and have all my records from the past 10 years on hand. I wanted some of my information, so I told him first he must give me his name, social security number and IRS "badge number", and that I would also need to speak to his supervisor. He hung up. Boy the IRS is getting rude these days! :)
