This number is from a background screening company from Sterling. I did call to verify this number from the company's universal telephone number. They were rude and refused to confirm the name of the company and their title. It is our job to protect our students and staff.
Got a call, could not hear or understand the person. Yesterday called twice, and then again today, 8/11/21. I tried both days calling back and number didn't work.
Received a phone call from this number, said it was Sterling and wanted to verify employment. It appeared they wanted me to say, "yes," which I did not.
I came here because I got a hangup from this number. However, they called back and it is Sterling, which is a legit company. I work at a school and they and other background screening companies often call to verify a student's graduation date. If you got a call from them and don't know why, they probably had the wrong number.
