Got a call from 6234924206?
Got a call from this number that came across my iphone as AmericanExpress and they left a VM asking me to call back to fix a problem with my card. I do not even have an AMEX card. Clearly a scam. Be careful.
Got a call from this number claiming to be from the AMEX fraud department asking for my daughter on my cell. Suspicious because it was to my cell and daughter has not lived at home for ten years. After telling caller that she did not live her got another call from the same number on my home phone. Again claimed to be from AMEX. Left a case number but no callback number.
I just received another call from this number Alex 800 394-7916 who left this phone number to call back, when I googled the number he called from (623) 492-4206 and I am happy I read these messages, when I answered he was asking for information about my company I asked him to verify the info he has when I said that he said he cannot do that for verification purposes.
Received a call from this number but did not have right name. Asked to call the number on the back of card regarding some activity on the card...???
got a call at my cellphone, florida area. Didn't respond. They left a message saying that they are calling from Amex, is this real?
Have received three calls, one per day for the last 3 days, around 8:30 pacific time. Have not picked up do to caller I.D. blocked, no message left each with each call. Have done some web searching and found the caller is listed as Alicia Erin Deleon located in Peoria, AZ. At this point based on previous comments she is a spammer. Suggest not answering and if so, give no information, and most definitely do not return call.
Recieved a missed call from 623 492 4206. I called back and it said I had reached a non-working American Express telephone number and I should call the American Express customer phone number at 1 800 528 4800. I had done my research before calling and knew that this was a scam. When you call in they ask you right away for your credit card account number to verify your information. People Please be aware and do not give any information to these scumbags! I called American Express and reported this to the fraud department.
Apparently the female caller knew I tried to make a transaction using PayPal and American Express. She tried to bate me by giving her my number. I hung up and canceled my accounts. I made a purchase earlier at AMAZON so I'm guessing its an employee.
Calling at least once a day for the past 2 weeks(623-492-4206). Claims to be American Express. This is a scam. Contacted American Express and there is no problem with the account. The scammers even provided me a number claiming it to be American Express(800-528-4800).
