Barry regarding DTE account called today. As reported above yes it is a scam. 616-219-8099 ext 67 is not DTE at all
Still some sort of scam from "Aubrey" asking for a call back and the information from your latest energy bill. Don't call her back. Don't call anyone back at this number, unless you're a government task force preparing a raid or something. Hopefully the new laws just passed will crack down on these shady operations.
False claim about DTE account for a person who sold the property three years ago
616-219-8099 ext 67 Barry asked that the person who handles the DTE account call him back and to have a recent bill on hand.
Audrey called about our gas bill. I called back and got a guy, he said he could save $ on our natural gas bill. I said that would be awesome but I've never had a natural gas bill as I am on propane. Just trying to get information out of you. Beware
My call was the same as the ones above but Breal or somerthing like that. I have no bills and I have natural gas.
I don't have Michigan Gas either, got a call on my cell phone (my gas company does not call my cell phone), and when I called back, I got a guy who hung up on me when I told him I have a different gas provider.

Similar message as reported earlier today by others; Ella instead of Audrey, extention 77 instead of 70. Specified "Michigan Gas", which is NOT the company which delivers gas in this area (redflag 1), AND there is no utility account associated with either my name or the phone number they called (redflag 2), AND the phone number with which this report is concerned - from which they called me (and specified for me to call back) is NOT the correct number for Michigan Gas Utilities (redflag 3). Three red flags, so I mark this as a scam/fraud call.
