I received a call today, 02/06/2020 at 2:06 p.m, CST. She stated she was from "Tennessee Healthcare" and wanted to know if I had Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Humana, AARP, or another insurance carrier? I told her that was none of her business and I don't do business over the phone with unknown callers. That's when she said she was from 'the government' and if I didn't answer her questions "it would just mess up my Medicare."

Called and claimed they were with Tenn. Dept of Insurance and knew my name and that i had Medicare but wanted to know who my Insurance was with, said I didn't like their questions and if they were who they claimed they should already know that. Called back this same #615-682-4040 & they still answered as TN Dept of Ins but instantly knew my name so they had caller ID & asked again who I had Insurance with, I hung up and reported the number to the "real" TN Dept of INS and they said it was a scam and was not one of their phone numbers & would look into it.
