They call about once a month and give a case number and say they will be reaching me at home or place of employment. They haven't done it yet and they've been making the same call for a year.

Whoever is calling, has called from several phone numbers beginning with 615-280-83**. The calls have been robo calls providing a case number and threatening legal action and that I needed to call them back asap or they would take up this case with the laws within my state. I am guessing this is a scam using scare tactics or a bogus debt collector using scare tactics.
