Robo call- My credit card had been charged $350 + . In order to get it taken off please dial...……..
They left me a message stating my credit card was going to get charged $399 if I didnt want to have this happen, I had to call them back. I called them back and they dont know who I was or what credit card was being billed. Just that they were from Microsoft. He kept saying I cant give you any information until you confirm that you dont want this to happen. It was a loud and noisy call center... He spoke very broken english. I hung up on them. Its a scam to try and get your credit card information.
They called and said they were related to the microsoft team. My subscription would auto renew for 345.00. If I wanted the credit, then call. When I called the guy got smart. He said you called me. I told him microsoft does not call its people. It is a scam like I had happen with a supposed Panda credit. I called Panda and they said give us the number we never call our clients. The guy had tried to link me to a website but I figured it out and clicked out of it. He was going to link with my computer and then do a ransomware thing. When I kept giving their numbers to Panda security they stopped. Ransomware is the motive I believe behind this supposed large credit. They link and an un knowing person is messed up. Ransom ware for sure. The call came from 614-548-8231 and for sure they do not have my credit card number.
Called about a internet protection that I did have saying it was going to Auto Renew for 399.
Recieved 2 calls in 2 days from this number claims a $499.00 payment was sent from my Credit card for "PC/Tech Support". Checked my Cards no such payment exists as I did not initiate any such transaction. Caller also stated that if I wanted to cancel the transaction to call that number back.
