I just got a call about them from Eastside Lenders saying they’re going after me for a civil suit for the total of $1200 when a payday loan that I did NOT take out was for $600 back in 2013. They said the last 4 of my social but gave me no evidence of how they obtained my information.
This is a company that I believe is participating in fraudulent activities. They just called me, without giving me proof that they have my SSN. They only said my first name and that I supposedly wrote a check to Macy's in the amount of 600.00 something and what the check number was and what my bank name is. I have never, ever wrote a check in that amount to Macy's, which is why this has got to be a fraudulent company seeking to gain identifying information from people.
