I answered the phone call, since I'd had this number call before, but only had voice mails. The voice mails were things like: 'Press [ 1 ] to speak to a representative....' After I answered, a lady said, "Hi, this is Peyton. I'm calling from the Credit Department." I asked, "Which credit Department, Peyton ?" And then dead phone line. I called back. Their answering machine. "Thank you for calling Customer Service, please select from the following options, so we can determine how to best assist you including how to enter you into our internal 'Do Not Call' registry...." Quite sounds like a shady scam, to me. I am not about to place my number further into their system. I've done this with others and usually it only means even more phone calls. This feels slimy.
