Unsolicited call from AmeriSave. Applied for mortgage with local credit union. Because the CU pulled a credit report AmeriSave was able to buy or somehow access that information. This happened even before I heard back from CU. So a totally bogus sounding unsolicited cold call came in trying to sell me on this mortgage company I had zero interest in hearing from. Amerisave already has paid out on 1 class action lawsuit for unsolicited calls and they're back at it again. Does a seemingly legit business really need to operate this way?
Claimed to be a local Remax realtor and I entered my information asking about a property. BULLSHIT! I already own and a home and NOT looking to purchase another
called at 3:55am. Sounded like a muffled message and then the busy tone.
Wanted me to give them information to see if I qualify for social security.
Nothing but a plain old SCAM. When asked how they got my unlisted number I was told they get all their call numbers right off the govt "do not call" list !!!
