Received call from 612-230-5192 - as soon as I answered the caller disconnected - no message left
The number belongs to InMoment, which is a Customer Feedback Management company. They call with survey questions about whatever company you dealt with that uses their services. It's an automated system. The call I received was on behalf of Xcel Energy. Their website quotes that they are a "Global company with offices in 7 countries; they have 1,700+ employees; they represent 3,000+ of the world’s leading brands worldwide; 1billion experiences are collected & enriched each day."
Not sure what to label this as, honestly. Normally I ignore "potential spam" as my phone labels them, but I answered and it's clearly a computer response system with a person working behind it. The laugh really creeped me out, but whoever it was was originally looking for a "Chris" and when I asked who was Chris they said they could only verify first names. When I said I didn't know a Chris they then claimed to be raising awareness? money? for vets, they mentioned the VA, and asked if they could send me information. That sounded incredibly sketchy. They hung up on me when I hesitated.
My car is 20 years old and the warranty has expired?? Yeah, go figure lol
After being treated rather rudely by someone calling, I called this number, and it stated something like, "Thank you for calling the fundraising center. . ." I get a lot of calls from this number and a few others supposedly fundraising for the police, fire dept., etc., which perhaps? clears them to call even though my number is on the "Do Not Call" list. However, if someone keeps saying, "No," then don't keep calling them back. These people do not take "no" for an answer. And I've even gotten mail from them saying that I "promised" to send them monies and where is it?, when I did no such thing..

It was a voicemail message that did not identify the company and only state: "Hi sorry that we were unable to record your answer. I will repeat the question for you. For English press one. I'm sorry that we were unable to record your answer. I will repeat the question for you. For English press one. I'm sorry I don't recognize that entry so you will be unable to complete the survey. Thanks for your time. Goodbye" I never called this number, have no idea what it was about, but I have blocked it. I completed a rather scathing survey on Xcel's website earlier in the day but it was truthful. Perhaps if this is associated with that company, they didn't like it.
