Been calling for the last 3/4 months using the same name as my Mortgage Company. I called my mortgage company and they confirmed that what the spoof caller was saying wasn't true; I was and never have been in default of my mortgage and to avoid calls like this. Today, I happened to entertain the spoof caller. I called the number back and it's like someone answering from their personal cell phone. I asked 'what is the name of this company' and he stumbled. I would barely make out the name he said. From then, I told him to never call this number again and that I was reporting him (the 1888 number he called from and the direct call back number he gave in the vm to FTC). He then said 'I'm sorry ma'am, I won't call no more
