My elderly parents received a call from Attorney Burg representing their grandson who was in jail for an accident, DUI and injuring a 6 month pregnant women. Before this call a young man crying called posing as grandson and explained he was in trouble. Attorney wanted $6,000 money to be sent from Wells Fargo Bank. This is awful why can't something be done about this person.
Elderly just received a call stating they were the grandson and needed $5000 to bail out of jail. He proceeded to say there was an accident and people were injured. They gave this phone number as if it was the attorney to send money to. Terrible that someone would attempt to scam and even worse an elderly person
Was called by a Michael Berg (sp?) who represented himself as a Public Defender for my grandson who supposedly was in jail for Reckless Driving and DUI. I am out $12,640. My grandson's voice was imitated so well - I still can't believe it was not him. The intonation, the words "he" chose ... I learned a very expensive lesson!!!!!
