Caller pretending to be from National Grid but he really wants to sell you electricity through an outside company. He called himself Brian Snider. He was also rude and pushy.
Comes up showing Bryan C Gall. Leaves no message. Get it every few months.
Received the same call from "Betsy" and she was very rude and pushy. Telling us that our contract had expired which was false.

Keep in mind that you local power company is no longer responsible for any line damage or outages to your residence or business...not worth it IMO

A voice message from this number was left on my office phone, which I have not used in months, because of the pandemic. A female voice didn't mention my name, addressed me as "you" and said that they needed to urgently talk to me about my "utility bill". I am supposed to call back and asked for "Betsy". Stupid scammers.
Received a call to our business from this number regarding page 3 of our Nyseg bill and wanting to talk with us about the information there. I requested 3 times of the caller to "get to the point" of her call because she swore it was not a sales call the second time she called. I hung up on the first call after telling her I was not interest. She just kept asking me to look at the bill and said in a year our contract would be expiring and she wanted to lock us in at the current rate. I again asked her what exactly she was calling me to do. Refused to again, get to the point of the call. Told her I didn't have time for this right then. She asked when she could call me back to which I said "I'll call you" and hung up. She called immediately back to which I hung directly up. Legit or not, way too pushy and evasive of the call reason.
Got a call from this number and she ( Betsy) was very pushy and rude, Said it was not solicitation call.... But it truly is. Wants you to switch to their service to pay less on your NYSEG bill.
Call from "Betsy" at extension 999 to our business, which is associated with a major university, so there's no need for us to discuss our utility bill with anyone. Definitely spam/scam

At first I thought this was a scam so I wrote a bad complaint but after further investigating into what was going on I realized it was not a scam call. The company had pointed out to show me I was being screwed over by my current supplier on a variable rate. My bills had doubled and I wasn’t sure why but then a nice man pointed out that I was paying 14 cents per kilowatt hour. The company kindly gave me a new supplier called direct energy and now I am paying 6 cents per kilowatt hour and by Bill was cut in half. So to all these horrible reviews you should have gave it a chance because it is a very official company.

Female called my business from this number and asked for 'Bob' who was the owner of this business appx 15 years ago and passed away around that time. I don't have time for scammers who don't even do their research on finding out who owns the business they're calling when the info is clearly stated on our website. I told her Bob died over 10 years ago and she giggled and whispered to another person in the background and asked if there was anyone else she could speak with. I found this extremely rude so I hung up on her and she repeatedly called back again and again. We did not answer and the staff has been instructed not to pick up calls from this number again. Why would anyone do business with a company like this when this is the 1st impression they leave?
A woman called saying she needed my email to renew my rates for NYSEG. Otherwise I'll just pay a lot more. They couldn't give me any info by mail or fax, just to my email. She said her name was Betsy at ext 999 from NES (whatever that is) She got nasty when I wouldn't just blindly do as she said. Too funny. This is like the 10th time she's called our business. Now everybody at our office has been instructed to hang up if 607-228-2444 shows up on caller ID.
Called saying they with NYSEG and they wanted to talk a about a program and the renewal for it.
Caller attempts to get you to switch to their service, implying that they are the "enrollment center" for the utility, in our case National Grid.

I received a call from this number - didn't catch the name, but she was very pushy and INSISTED on me getting my electric bill - saying that I received a notice that my rates are going up. I did ask where she was from, she told me Florida originally, then caught herself and said, you meant the company. I am the office mgr, but I told her that I was out and to call back tomorrow. she kept telling me to go get my electric bill - I told her "I" didn't have permission, she kept asking for the direct line of the person in charge of the bill. I also told her someone else had called a month ago and the manager was not interested. She still insisted - very pushy.
