You will receive many threatening phone calls and letters from them regarding very old debts they bought and try to collect on. Not his phone don't know him now I have a cell and they started up the same thing again and when I got upset she said they would not call me back but I don't believe her they are determine to harass me and I am tired of itcant block all the no u have and only 67 comes up so can block stop these people

DO NOT RESPOND. If they have a legitimate case, they will just have a process server hand you a subpoena to appear in court. Law firms do not hide. This one is. No correspondence, no return phone number on phone, long voicemails that are phishing for information.... no. Get an attorney to handle the subpoena of you ever actually receive one. It's the best way to go. This debt collector must have recently bought some old accounts.

I got a phone call from this company today with a blocked number telling me about a civil case pending. I haven't called back an u probably won't unless I'm bored but I did notice all of us have gotten these calles within the last couple of weeks. I may just call Monday to have some fun. I hate these people with a passion.

I have been scammed since December 2009, going on 11 years now, by unknown, unnamed phone calls where claims that I owe a 20 year old debt of $10,000.00 ( WHICH HAD BEEN SATISFIED AND IS 20 YEARS PAST STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS) and I must pay or be filed against in court. I have been harangued every day accept week-ends and some isolated months where there the scammers make up a new tactic and re-group to harass me. The bottom line is the same issue of documents to be delivered to me to sign to pay or be sued. This is an attempt to re-open the debt; satisfied or not. One very nasty man phoned me stating that he was taking my home, Social Security, home car and everything I own etc if I did not immediately pay. I told him (while he was yelling at me) that this was a scam, I did not owe the debt and most importantly it was barred by Statute of Limitations and not to call me again. Well, this stopped the scan for only a few weeks until it started again. (I ignore these calls as scams (not knowing what to do) and try not to answer their daily calls, sometimes up to three – five a day. This time with a woman telling me she is a certified process server in Shasta County who has a law suit giving me a phony number, to serve on me. She said I had to call an 800 number to make payment or she was going to serve me. I said Oh no, another angle on the scam and did noting. I am sorry but I do not have this number but I did Google it to find pages of thousands of people claiming the exact same thing on this scam. It was obvious that she was not a process server committing fraud and that the court case she said was not a case at all and not a legitimate court number, more fraud. I cannot continue to comment on the 11 years of the scam tactics but most importantly, I received on or abut Sept. 22, 2019, for the first time (any correspondence) in the mail OR OTHERWISE. A letter from a Howard Clark Associates. 215 S Broadway, Suite 402 Salem. NH 03079 (phone 1-888-667-9431, 603-484-8555 fax 603-484-8598. The letter is signed by a Benjamin Watson demanding money from me by Sept. 27, 2019 or I will be sued. I again have to endure another line of tactics to scam me. I Googled the firm and found pages of warnings that this is a SCAM alleged company. I decided I was going to get them and installed an answering box to catch some of their harassment and fraud. Here came 1 call on Monday September 20, 2019 and 2 calls on Sept. 24, 2019 (no name and no number on the caller ID). The recorder took the call from a man claiming he was Kevin Clark claiming to be an attorney, FRAUD, working for Howard Clark and Associates. He then says this is the law firm of Howard Clark (a true law firm), FRAUD, ready to file suit against me if I do not pay and accept and sign documents to be delivered to my home, FRAUD, by September 26, 2019 and pay from them by September 27, 2019. If I did not call Howard Clark and make payment. Here we go again with the scam of the threat of documents and the lawsuit! The same scam for 11 years that I have had to endure. With the same bottom line.

This may be a legitimate debt collector. (although their address is a different store on Google Street view...) If they contact you though, know your rights. They tried to get me to make a payment by making the settlement time sensitive. That is their right, but the reality of the situation is that the debt in questionis well past the statute of limitations. Even admitting that the debt is yours or making a partial payment restarts these statutes in some states and gives them a right to sue you. If you have to deal with these people, make detailed notes of your conversation, don't assert the debt, ask for a written declaration of the account, and do as much research as you can. (Obviously I'm not a lawyer of any kind, just trying to spread info I wish I knew before I called these people back)

Received a call from this number and the woman said Teresa Walker your hair by on notification that you’re going to receive a document on a court case number 527268 and if you do not respond to us yada yada. I called back and a man answered and put me on hold I Immediately hung up. I can tell this is a scam artist.

Called the 6034848555 back after a Kathy Mendez left a message on my phone about a civil matter. I called the first time with my number blocked and gave her the case number she left 524494. She asked was I someone with the last name Gensick. And I'm like sorry wrong person. She asked for my number to remove me off the call list. Then I called back unblocked and a guy answered. I gave him the case number and he wanted me to confirm my last 4 of my social. I said I will not confirm anything. So then he gets super mad and says we have all of your information already but I'm not going to give you any information without you confirming with me who you are. Then says call back when you can confirm who you are and hung up on me. I don't know who these ppl are but I play games right back

My husband received two calls from Kevin Hall with Howard Clark and Associates saying that a civil claim was going to be filed against him. The guy who left the messages paused numberous times like he was reading from a paper! Huge red flag plus the defendants name wasn’t even my husbands. One message said someone needed to be home to receive “documents” on Monday and the other said Tuesday! I googled said firm and the only thing that came up was an employment agency in NJ... So being the person I am I called back and told them I knew it was a scam and I was going to turn them in. No law firm will call you before filing a suit and process servers don’t call to check if you’re home before serving you with papers. He said yes they do, shouldn’t you be working today, I said that’s none of your business and you’re wrong bc I work in this world. He said are you an attorney, again none of your business! He was extremely rude, and wanted to argue with me which in turn I argued back until I finally hung up on him. received a call from a Amy McNeil at Howard, Clark and associates for my husband. they left a message on my voicemail stating that they needed my husband to contact them regarding "a legal matter" and left me a case number with the phone number 609-4484-8555. I know my husband has no legal issues so I googled the number to come to find out it is yet another scam.

I received a call from Kathy Mendez at Howard, Clark and Associates today telling that there is a civil suit against me with the case number being 524860 and that I needed to call back to confirm my address so papers to be delivered. Pretty sure that this is a scam since she wouldn't tell me what it was in regarding without verifying my information.
