Got a call from this number with a real person asking me if I am interested in education of employment. I was wondering how she got my name and phone number. I was thinking maybe I put my profile on Caljob and indeed and has notification set for office clerk in education field. I feel so unsafe that my personal info has been obtained in an inappropriate way. It is awful.
Got a call from a real person who had my first name. I don't remember what company was (something generic IT) saying I'd been looking to continue education or find employment in IT. When I asked how they had my number, she said I must have clicked on something. I have a profile on Indeed that has notifications set up for IT internships which is likely where they pulled my number from, but calling UNSOLITICED and giving a bizarre route for how they got my number is inappropriate, sketchy, and just overall rancid.
