Got two calls from this number at my automotive repair shop today. Both ties there was no answer. Looked up the number on Google to find this. Blocked the number. Thankful for pages like this and people who look out for others and report these calls.
Said they were from RG&E (Rochester Gas and Electric, NY) conducting a survey. Asked if this number is a landline or cell phone. After I said both phone numbers go to the same phone, and I'd have to know what number he called. He said Thank You, That is All. Then hung up. I'm probably going to get unsolicited text messages from now on from a bunch of fake phone numbers
This is a scam. I'm on do not call list. They commit crime to call me.

I get a number of calls every day many from Elba new York. When I look at the number seems to be connected to peerless communications. I never answer the phone I try not to. I’m tired of earrings from them how do you get them off your back. Different phone numbers every time.
A lady by the name of Betty Morgan called and let me know we had won a large check and a 2021 BMW. (I wish) She was the delivery driver and was in town and ready to come to my house. She stated that I needed to call 585-444-3780 and talk to the general manager named Benjamin Bush. I was given a package number that i was suppose to give Mr. Bush, He then would then give her the authorization to deliver my prize. SCAM !!
Some character who goes by the name of Dylan was under the mistaken impression that I was selling my home. I made sure to block the number.

Appeased to be a robocall. With an automatic connect to a call center. Call was dropped before I got that far.
Claimed to be from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - the Mormons. They wanted to send someone to see me to talk about Jess but wanted to know my address. When I asked them questions about their founder, Joseph Smith, they could not answer. Questions such as where he was from (Palmyra, NY). Seemed to be a scam of some sort. I doubt they really were Mormons. I demanded they tell me how they got my unlisted number. Was told they got a list of numbers to call and they have no idea who the numbers belong to.
The individual got hostile immediately, claimed I sounded like I was about to curse him out, and then hung up. He had called and woken my husband up as he came in from working a double shift at work.

left a message on my cell phone, they were "Bank of America" and gave me a bogus claim # to "make a wire transfer or certified check". I called BOA just to make sure no one had opened an account in my name and they verified no. However, this was a phishing scam. BEWARE
