I have a FSBO and they keep calling - never leave a message. I blocked them based on the previous comments here.
These jerks are surfing Craigslist, trying to get FSBO home sellers into contacts with them to sell their houses. They are so sleazy that they act as though they're potential buyers, before asking you if you want to sign a confact with them to sell your house. Obviously, FSBOs know about agent services and ridiculous commissions, which is why they're trying to sell on their own. Also, FSBO sites, like Craigslist, specifically state in every post that those who are posting do not wish to be solicited for any services, yet, these unethical companies still try.
Two calls in 1 day--- before 9am. They mumble something about real estate and investors... then try to extract information from you.
Same experience as others in different states. I live in OH and got a call from this number at 8:15 AM on 3/7/19. I did not pick up, let it go to voice mail. No message left. I have my house listed for sale on Zillow. I suspect this is a scammer. I Blocked the caller.
Called from Rochester by using a local realtor named Sidney Greena? Interested in our real estate listing that "was" on Zillow he was her assistant but he wouldn't give me her contact info
called asking about a real estate listing in WV from a rochester ny number. used a local realtors name but was not associated or known by this realtor.
called the number back and got a recording saying it is Ryan Wood from a real estate company. I don't know him nor do I live in NY so no reason for him to be calling me. I find that most of these calls are computer generated and some times use a working # but the call is not from the person who owns the line.
