Complaints about Phone Numbers585-582-####

Voice message let on my cell saying if I do not return this call I will be facing legal consequences

I received a call from this number stating IRS taking legal action against me.

I just recieved a call from an unknown number, 585 582 5076......n I'm on the Do not call registry. Vm said "If you want to know about this case, call 585 582 5976. I deleted it n hung up.

Noticed a missed call from this number, so I called it back. A man who sounded vaguely foreign answered on a very staticy line, "US Dept of **Something** Registry". I replied " Hi, This is Detective Ray *******, I received a missed call from this number?" The man hung up immediately. I attempted to call back from several numbers, but now only get the beeping out of service sound. Needless to say, I will be passing this off to a few select friends.

This number called me about receiving a lawsuit if I did not respond. I tried calling number back and just receive a busy signal. Seems like a scam.
