Now they are calling cell phones in Michigan. Lock these idiots up in a prison on a deserted island somewhere please!
On 10/28/2021, I received a call from a woman asking me to confirm my address which I did. When I asked what was the nature of her call, she refused to answer and repeated the need fir me to validate the last four digits of my SSN. I refused and before I hung up, I asked to be removed from their calling list and if this scam continued I would report the number to FCC. I have a Texas area code and have noticed the frequent calls I am receiving without cause.
Caller/recording started speaking before vmail started recording so no name was recorded but it was implied that it was an actual person, even though I don't think it was. Message requested a call back to a different number regarding an "incomplete application for relief" and to speak to another agent if he was unavailable.
As a REALTOR I am compelled to answer my phone shouldn’t be an inquiry into a listing or a potential customer. Once I determined it was a solicitation call I politely asked that I be removed from the call list. The caller repetitively said that they would not remove me from their call list or email list as they felt that I needed their services. I believe this is in direct violation of the do not call list.
