I got a call from this number claiming to be from the Transworld System Inc. who advised that i have a debt with MTA for unpaid tolls of $2,190. I advised them that it was impossible because i have E-Zpass and i pay automatically from my account. The woman I spoke to gave me the license plate and an address on file that i never heard of. She said I was sent a collection notice to an address i have never lived or heard of. I advised i can prove that this is fraud and provided my address for them to send me this supposed notice. They verified my name and phone number. I really hope this is not some kind of scam as I have been reading in the comment section and didn't drop the ball by giving my address.

I received a call from this phone number; my caller ID indicated “scam likely”; it was a male with a British accent, saying that he was calling for “Ryan Anderson”. I told him that he had the wrong number, so he apologized and said he would flag the number and mark it accordingly.
