Ooh, these sneaky people. It came up as American Express. I do have an outstanding balance with them, so I thought it was legitimate. He knew how much I owed and I tried to get a settlement number. He was SUPER aggressive. He wanted to know if I was going to pay with a debit card or a bank account number. I said I wanted to hear what his supervisor said. He said I needed to give him those numbers first. Big Red Flag! Looked up this number and viola! Its a scam! Be careful!!
