Got unwanted call from 530-617-1891?

User Comments

Same thing, also referring to his daughter as “the girl” (really??), wanting me to accept credit card payment for my services as well as pay for his “private chauffeur”. I don’t think so. I find it odd that his story doesn’t really change and that he doesn’t have the sense to block his number!

I am copying the text messages I received from this number below. This is not the first time something like this has happened. Fortunately, I had enough common sense to realize it was a scam. I found it funny and replied for enjoyment however, I’m worried that someone who is in need of client would fall for this. DON’T! 530-617-1891: Greetings,My name is Joseph,i would like to know if you do Personal Trainer?? (First off anyone that would have found my contact information would not have had to ask if I was a Personal Trainer.) Me: Hi Joseph, Where did you find out about me? 530-617-1891: I got your contact via online search. Actually,i want to schedule this appointment for my daughter ,she want to loss her weight and gain body movement, strength.. (I’m not even going to be a jerk and comment on the horrible grammar) Me: Okay. Take a look at the prices and let me know what you prefer to do. We can schedule a call for this weekend or early next week. (I really thought this would be the end of it.) 530-617-1891: the girl will start her session on the 11th of June and I prefer Tuesday by 10am and Thursday 10am, so i hope those time are open? (The girl???) 1 month later 530-617-1891: Hello How are you doing Me: How can I help you? (Again - Bored) 530-617-1891: This is Joseph Me: What do you need? 530-617-1891: Concerning fitness training for my daugbter I haven't hear back from you since all this days Me: I've reported you already. Waste someone else's time! If you're going to run scams, consider learning proper english first. Stop texting me. I’m sharing these messages for people to see the type of lingo these people use. Like I said before, this was not the first time this happened to me. The first time the messages from the scammers were similar.

I’m getting texts from a similar person stating he’s looking for counseling. Gave a daughter’s name of Jasmine Elmer but originally was vague about how he found me and then referred to daughter as ‘the girl’ which is what made me look up the phone number. Here I found all of you. Thank you.

Liars don't generally fidget--in fact, research shows we often stay more physically still when we are being untruthful. But, small gestures can still be a telling indicator. According to the CIA, while lying, people are likely to touch their upper bodies often: rubbing hair or eyes, touching the cheek or mouth, scratching, adjusting clothing or glasses. Small, but frequent, movements can be an indicator that the speaker is hiding something. (Parade CIA article)

Ryan Lochte most likely could not distinguish between exaggeration or lying in his recent incident. In truth, the same is true for many of your friends, family and colleagues. In fact, a 2002 University of Massachusetts study showed that 60% of adults will lie at least once in any 10-minute conversation. It's not that these people think of themselves as dishonest. That is probably the first lie they tell each day! After all, most untruth starts with a lie you tell yourself. In this world of fabrication, you need to protect yourself. You need to tell the truthful from the liars. To help you spot them right away, here is what research experts tell us about how people behave when they lie. We included links to the sources so you know we are telling the truth. stop to this number

Nearly everyone is taught as a kid that lying is bad, but the truth is that society puts up with so much falsehood that many people become liars while thinking they are truthful. Little lies like embellishing your resume or being nice so you won't hurt the feelings of others seem innocuous and yet often establish a pattern of deceit that fools even the deceiver. why are lying against the owner of this number. How do you know he's a scam does he take your money runaway...This is not real stop all this .

I had a similar experience. It is a scam. A man states that his daughter live in Wildwood NJ and would like me to be her personal trainer. A SCAM . He states that he needs to pay by credit card. I told him I only take credit cards through paypal. He states he only goes through swipesimple. I know something was not right. This is a scam.
