I was in an accident recently. This person must have gotten the police report (public record) and called me. The person claimed to be my 'accident investigator' and said that they would send me a copy of the police report in two days, and that the other party admitted fault and they have full coverage insurance. They said that the report will have steps with what steps to take next. The thing is, I was involved in a hit and run, and the other party was not listed on the police report because I didn't get any info from their vehicle. I called them back and a shady person answered and hung up. Then subsequent calls went to their voicemail. Do not trust this number.
