Have heard from these clowns before. they are a (Zombie) debt buyer, dealing in old, expired, or outright bogus accounts. They have no legal recourse to sue for debts that are so old but will make all sorts of empty threats, call their bluff and block them.
Same experience as above: “Jack Brown” who has a heavy Indian accent said they would automatically charge my bank account $299 for Microsoft security renewal at the end of the day, so I called back and told him to just cancel it, but according to him I had to be on my computer and fill out a form to do that, an obvious scam
I'm not sure if this was a scam or what. I was told it was a recorded line & that his records show I'm in an age group that may qualify me for a medical alert system at no cost. He just needed to verify my information. When I said I wasn't interested he hung up immediately. This leads me to believe he was fishing for information.
We keep getting calls from this number, but we don't answer (no number we know) and they don't leave a message once they hear our phone message.
I also got a call saying to contact them within 24 hours to avoid being arrested. It was a computer male recorded message.
