On Xmas day, 2019, mid-afternoon, I receive a call from a closely similar number, same city/state (Beaverton/Oregon), same MCI Metro Access Transmission Services: 503-616-7135 (a VOIP Landline). Male Indian voice, says he is from McAfee Security Services (I say to myself -- "sure -- on Xmas Day"! This scammer is desperate!) I say: "enjoy Xmas," and hang up. He calls back immediately. I say: "Is it not clear I don't want to speak with you"! Hang up again. About 15 minutes later, same A-hole calls again. I say: "I use Norton, not McAfee. Do not call again."Thirty minutes later. this persistent scammer calls again. He starts yelling at me. He says: "I installed Norton on your computer" (Not true: I installed Norton from factory direct CD's many years ago). I say: "email me, and if what you say is true, you already have my email address" I hang up with final statement: "I will not answer any further calls from you" (So You Know/SYK: I have received no emails from "McAfee Security Services). This truly pathetic scammer calls my number about 10 more times; I answer none of these calls. My only mistake here was initially being courteous. "No good deed goes unpunished." Scammers and fraud artists deserve nothing but an immediate hang up. Hope all those Indian/Hindu ideas regarding Karma are/will be "at work," here.
