502-305-2046

I keep getting calls from this 502-305-2046 and various numbers starting with... 502-305... It looks like this number and perhaps the others were reported to the FTC. These calls seem to have begun after I began selling things on facebook and gave my phone number to a few buyers that never showed up to purchase the products they were supposedly interested in. If there is a definitive connection here, these scammers seem to use facebook to gather personal information such as your phone number and address and any other personal information on your facebook profile. With just your name, phone and address scammers can attempt fraud, scare tactics such as threats (by pretending they are a government entity like the IRS or many others), or robbery. I recommend deleting most personal info. from facebook. Facebook obtains, stores and sells your data to advertisers and even consolidates it with other sites (i.e. dating and other social networking sites) and may use it for other purposes that you are unaware. Facebook will freely provide your information to authorities if you have committed a crime and they are trying to track your whereabouts and monitor you. The scary things is... they are redefining what a criminal is. You seem to be thought of similar to a criminal if you are a free thinker and express free speech on facebook and it varies from the government's narrative, so this is why I caution everyone... Don't openly share much personal info. as it make you too visible. Secure and protect your personal information. Lets face it this is why these scammers are calling me and others... we gave too much info. to them. Be safe.
