Just received call and lady tried to get me to verify last four of social and then said if I felt more comforting sharing last two and date of birth. I said I wouldnt give any information unless I knew what it was about bc of all the scams. She said she could assure me it wasnt scam. I told her I wouldnt give anything.

I picked up the phone and said hello twice but in between I only heard ambient noise, like someone had answered but wasn't talking.

Lady called and said she was with FC Services or something like that. There was a lot of background noise, like a call center. She knew my name and address that she had supposedly sent a previous letter to. Wanted me to give her the last 4 digits of my social security and date of birth to verify my info. I asked repeatedly what is the name of your company date of birth. I hung up on her .

Finally I told her "you are out of luck" and hung up.

The individual who called sounded foreign. I couldn't catch the accent, but they kept asking over and over for me. I kept saying "speaking." Apparently, they couldn't understand so I hung up. I blocked them.
