THESE GUYS ARE SOPHISTICATED SCAMMERS! actually have scammer pose as your grandkid who calls you and asks you not to tell the parents. then guy posing as an attorney trying to get your grandchild out of jail for DUI. wants you to wire bail money but "don't tell the bank it's for bail or info may become public and count against them later in life". One way to trip them up is to ask questions that help you verify it's real. Such as asking for multiple landline phone #'s for callback and ask for court information (address, phone, etc) to verify they were actually arrested/charged. Be sure grandkid is actually yours (not some scammer/actor) by verifying their personal info that only they would know. When did i last see you? Who is your sister/brother? hopefully you grandkid is able to pick up the phone as ours was not for several LONG worrisome hours.
