This company has to be breaking so many FTC violations it's been beyond frustrating! They call my phone no less than 2-3 times a day, all within acceptable call times (one FTC rule they actually follow), they claim to be employment specialist with jobs available in my area which is great because I have been in the job market, but at least half the time as soon as they get a couple sentences in the line will just disconnect. The first time I was actually able to complete a call they did play the role of someone trying to assist me with finding jobs in my area that fits my skill set. However there were several times where I was asked about whether or not I was interested in continuing my education which I clearly stated not at the moment and not in the near future. They then continued on and once again ask what would I go back to school for if I ever decided to go back, to which I replied clearly once again schooling wasn't even on my radar at the moment. Very politely she said OK than you and said she would be transferring me to someone who will get my email address and populate a list of the jobs I may be interested in, but she said something very odd before doing so and asked "I just have one request and that is that you show the next person I would be speaking with the same polite respectful manner I used when speaking with her", to which I naturally replied "yes". No joke the first words out of the mouth of the person they transferred me too said "Hello my name is John Doe and I understand you're interested in furthering your education?!?!?!?!?! At this point extreme frustrated because I realized I just wasted 10 minutes speaking with the previous person but still keeping my cool I said not actually I said the exact opposite and when I started to ask for them to remove me from their call list before I finished they hung the phone up on me so I still continue to receive 2-3 daily phone calls from these people and every single time they call and I start to ask about being added to their do not call list they disconnect the call. I've even tried to bate them by showing interest but as soon as I start to mumble being removed from their list they disconnect the line. I've also found if you ask for the name of their company they won't give a straight answer and say "they represent many companies" and if you continue to dig they'll also hang up the phone. If you call back the number you'll get the same treatment, they'll hang up on you before you can asked for the calls to stop.
