This is Allied Interstate a collection agency.They call multiple times a day from all different numbers. The person I spoke to was VERY RUDE when I asked them for written verification of the debt. I do not believe it is a valid student loan debt so I want to have written documentation to review and compare to my records.I told him that I am already working with another company on the debt I believe he is trying to collect. He said that would be illegal and I said "EXACTLY! That is why I want written verification." They tried to strong-arm me into making arrangements over the phone and when I said I don't do business that way, he said that is the only way they do business. I finally had to just keep saying "As soon as I receive written documentation of the debt I will call you back and then we can talk". He kept overtalking me so I finally just hung up.
