Caller said he was from Microsoft, calling because my IP address had been compromised. When I asked him to provide me with the IP address he said he didn’t have it. But he was able to recite my name and address to me after I asked what information he had. He gave 425-977-0919 as the number to call if we got disconnected, after I asked.

Caller said he was from Microsoft and my IP address had been compromised and needed more information from me to fix it. I got his number and looked it up and it was a spam/fraud number.
