Calling in regards to a "formal complaint in process"...they give a case file number and tell you to call. Blocked, but they also have my work number. Do not answer these calls
Scam regarding "formal complaint that is in the process of being filed for several different matters, calling to ensure we have the correct address for this individual. The next step will be filing necessary paperwork in your county. At this time you have a right to contact the information center" This is a scam. Any actual debt collector identifies themselves and has specific information. The call I received if about someone who isn't even alive anymore.
