extremely shady caller. wants to do home improvement.

I received a call from this number stating that they were general contractors and they wanted to give me a quote. A guy came out but he was very suspicious, had no cards, gave me no company information and told me it would cost $25,000 to paint the exterior of my house. I have repeatedly called this number to speak with them with no answer

wants to send someone to my house for a home improvement service. I repeatedly ask for a state contractor's license number and they will not provide. I told him to stop calling and put me on their do not call list. He told me that he is unable to guarantee my request
