No message left. Caller "UNKNOWN NAME" hung up when the answering machine picked up. So THIS site says the carrier is Teleport Communications (which, BTW, is OWNED by AT&T these days). But the previous report site I went to said the carrier was Leap Wireless! And this is the problem, and the scammers take advantage of it: NOBODY KNOWS WHO REALLY "OWNS"/"ISSUES" THE NUMBERS! So the carriers can (safely) flout the new federal law because they can claim "Oh, it's not OUR number...." I say "Sue them ALL into oblivion!" Oh, people will lose jobs? Well, given how incompetent most of the IT people and web designers for these conglomerates and "high tech" companies are? I say "GOOD!"
