NOT A SCAM FOR ME. Received a call from this number that had left a recorded voicemail message regarding a letter social security had sent to me with application for Extra Help with drug costs. It is valid because I DID RECEIVE a letter with a paper application from social security and this was a reminder call since I had not returned it. This extra help is for original medicare and I enrolled in medicare advantage. Don't need extra help with Rx costs. NOT A SCAM FOR ME. Jut a reminder call.

Wait times to speak to a representative are typically shorter in the morning, later in the week, and later in the month. Our automated telephone services are available 24 hours a day and do not require you to wait to speak with a representative. My question is how the scammer knows the people they call has appointment? Do they hack into Social Security Appointment database? We need to inform Social Security to protect their Appointment Database.

I got a call from this number reminding of an appointment the next day with Social Security so I don't think it was a scam call because I actually did have an appointment. The only thing is, it did not say Social Security on my caller ID, it said Maryland. Unless someone has access to the SS records and knows that I had appointment, it is legitimate
