Dec 17 2018 - a call came in from 410-919-4565 with caller ID as Capital One Bank. When the rep said her name and that she was calling on a recorded line a beep happened to CONVENIENTLY block what she said. When I asked " I couldn't hear you the sound was beeped out who did you say you were ? " she seemed startled and hung up on me. Decided to call the number back. They answered as another bank name. Told her Capital One is NOT what you just said and the internet is reporting this number as fraud. She very coyly said Ma'am we have many websites offering hearing aides - are you having hearing issues ? Told her they are scams and get my name off their list.
