Called pretending to be from Amazon. He wanted to verify my payment information for 2 Iphones. I called Amazon they have no such order.
Robo call, some form of threat but have to call back. When to voice mail and cut off first part of message.
Left a questionable voicemail threatening a vague legal punishment (but it seemed like it cut off). I call the number back, guy on the end says “Social Security Administration” so I hung up without saying anything.
Received a call say my social security number has been fraudulently and if I ignored it, I would be responsible for damages. I called back, the scammer asked for my name and then asked for my social security number. He told me he had to verify who I was. I asked him why he needed it? Should you be able to tell me my social security number if your claiming I have fraudulent activity, he became very defensive so I hung up.
This number has called 2 -3 times a day for the last month. No message left.
Claim to be social security and not even mention name But recording say you will be arrested if you don’t call back. This is some type of a scam
Scammer omg if I could only find the asshole they have a free gift coming
