Claimed PenFed Debit Card was blocked and to call 8727101356. Contacted PenFed, No such information, Agreed it was a scam attempt.
I have had this phone number for a few years and I don't call anyone except to make doctor appt. and only a few family. I am going to assume phone numbers are being hacked. Tonight I got a call from a female saying that I called her around 2ish yesterday afternoon. My phone was turned off until 4 pm when I turned it back on.
Got a text from this number. "Subject: Sandra Barnes. I am a P.I. needing to verify some info on Sandra. If you can answer some questions and want an Amazon gift card, please reply." Probably a debt collector or some sort of payment scam.
