These people call you and tell you you have complaints against you and they threaten to throw you in jail. They were calling me and I listened to the jerk for a few minutes and finally told me about a signature loan from about 8 years ago. I simply told him there is no debtors prison and hung up at least people are scammers and will threaten you and they have no scruples or follow any rules or laws about debt collecting. They think because they work for a law office they can not be sued for unscrupulous debt collecting practices. Be sure to record the call. Nobody can arrest you for an unpaid bill unless it's a court bill or something like that.
