Caller ID showed the call came from New Windsor MD @ 443-671-5863 stating to call 361-288-1818 for a refund of $299.99 as stated above due to Pro Care losing their license.
This number was given to me to call for a $299.99 refund for a 5 year computer tech support contract with "ProCare Tech Support" which could no longer fulfill as their company lost it's license renewal. SCAM.

someone called pretending to be from a tech support company called ProCare, saying that the company was going out of business and they wanted to refund my $299.00 tech support payment. They said to call back at 361-288-1818. The caller ID number was 615-845-4235. A. I don't have tech support from that company. B. they would send an email if they were legit, but I still wouldn't click on the link C. they would have an 800 # if they were legit. D. I called Procare and they are tech support for a daycare payment company, and are NOT going out of business. E. if they lost their license, would they REALLY be calling all their customers to give them a refund? I think not. I' m sure they are asking people for credit card #'s to "confirm" that they should refund to that card, or they are looking for access to your computer.
