Who called me from this phone number (347) 537-2796

Claimed to be collecting for police or sheriff like a benevolent fund soliciting donations... I asked for what state, what area and he said it was nation wide. I reminded him that I was on the do not call list because I didn't want to be solicited by phone and that he should have checked the list before making the call
