Just got call with the same story as above
Called grandparents saying he was in an accident. the police had him on DUI and needed $9,200 to get him out in New York. Then was willing to drop to $2,000 and needed it in cash. He said his name was Peter Green and he was a lawyer from New York
Called 90 year old pretending to be Peter Green from the county. Said grandson was in an accident and needed bail money. Said it had to be cash.
Called a 96 year old pretending to be great great grandson in trouble in Florida and had "Peter Green" his lawyer call her back.
Called a 81 year old, pretending to be a hurt family member, saying that they need bail money for being drunk and crashed into car with pregnant woman. He needed $10,000. Then called back pretending to be Peter Green, lawyer saying that they could get the bail money reduced.

At least 7 consumers from New York, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Oregon reported phone number 347-440-1951 to the Federal Trade Commission. 14% of complaints reported the call or text message as a robocall or recorded message. The last complaint was on January 9, 2020.
