Person who calls herself Mrs. Gwenin, claims to be from utility company Con Edison to review supply charges on my electrical account, with a ref # "egks"1540. Says I should have a recent statement for review. I know for myself, I have no account with Con Edison. This may be a potential scam. If this number calls you, demand they tell you their full name and Con Edison employee ID # so that you may verify with Com Edison before dealing with them. If they won't provide that info, hang up and report the scammer # to Con Edison.
