At least 16 consumers from Oregon, Tennessee, Nevada, California, Connecticut, and 4 other states reported phone number 347-293-0864 to the Federal Trade Commission. 43% of complaints reported the call or text message as a robocall or recorded message. The last complaint was on July 30, 2025.

Called me too. Web design firm in India or Pakistan dredging for business after I buy a domain. To answer 2/27/2020 comment, Technically infeasible for the FCC to stop robocalls--you can set up systems, but these people aren't dummies, and it will subverted quickly enough and we'll just gain layers upon layers of inconvenience. Some people also tend to start ranting and raving about government interference in their lives anytime it does something to protect them. (Government is damned if does and damned if it doesn't.) Many phone services and even phones allow users to block or screen incoming calls according to various criteria. Particular numbers or ranges of numbers, numbers that aren't in the users directory, entire country codes or area codes, and so forth. I just don't answer if I don't recognize a caller and let my voice mail pick it up. If it's important I'll listen to the message and call back pretty quickly. Most spam callers never bother leaving a message.
