I also got a call from this number claiming to be with "the corporate office of Huntington Bank." First, the corporate offices of Huntington Bank are in Columbus, not Akron where the call originated. Next when you return the call it goes immediately to voice mail with no indication of the company receiving the call. SCAM all the way. Shame on you!
Rather than immediately going to the interweb to say something is a scam, I decided to call Huntington customer service to validate. Turns out this Becka person does indeed work for Huntington - in their sales department. The call (or message left) may be deliberately cryptic, but it's definitely bad protocol during a time when scammers are rampant. When in doubt, call the companies you do business with directly, Huntington's customer service number is 800-480-2265.
